TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe is a new generation of pipe for long-distance water transmission. It protects the steel on both surfaces: the outer wall is coated with a three-layer polyethylene (3PE) system, while the inner wall is lined with fusion-bonded epoxy powder.
The internal anti-corrosion layer meets food-grade requirements, so the pipe can carry drinking water without affecting its quality. Compared with traditional pipelines, this dual protection offers a longer service life, a smooth inner surface with low flow resistance and reduced maintenance.
Structure
- External protection – 3PE: epoxy, adhesive and polyethylene layers against soil corrosion and mechanical damage
- Internal protection – fusion-bonded epoxy: food-grade lining in contact with the conveyed water
- Steel base pipe: provides the strength and pressure capacity of the line
- Smooth inner wall that reduces friction losses and scaling
Application areas
- Long-distance drinking water transmission lines
- Municipal water supply networks
- Water treatment plants and pumping stations
- Industrial and irrigation water pipelines
